Club Information

What do we race?

Here at FRCCC, we race electric touring cars, with an AMB personal transponder system for accurate lap timing. These personal transponders are available to buy from the club for a discounted price for members. We can also hire them out to new members during the meetings.

We mainly race 1/10 electric touring cars. We use any cars from Tamiya TT-01s up to Competition Spec touring cars. Also we cater for 1/18th scale off road racing and mini class.

When do we race?

During summer we meet at 6:30pm on Friday evenings, racing starts at 7pm on nice smooth tarmac.

During winter we meet at 1:30pm on Sunday afternoons, racing starts indoors on carpet 2:00pm.

How much does it cost?

Membership for 1 year costs:
          £20 (adults)
          £15 (juniors - under 15's)

Each price includes £13 fee for membership to the BRCA (www.brca.org)

Each meeting costs £3 for entry (£4 for non-members). Everyone is expected to help set up and clear away the race track. This is to ensure that not the same dedicated few do all of the work at each meeting.
