Club Rules

All racers, whether club members or not, are expected to abide by the rules as set out below:

1) All racers are expected to help set up and pack away the track, tables and chairs.

2) Work surfaces provided by the Youth Centre and must be left clean and tidy, and covered with a protective surface if damage is a possibility, e.g. use of solvents or soldering.

3) All racers will dispose of their rubbish in the bins provided.

4) Smoking is not allowed in the hall.

5) FRCCC is not responsible for any loss or damage to the racers equipment or personal injury, no matter how caused. For details of Public Liability Insurance, refer to the appropriate section in the current BRCA handbook.

6) Race Fees for the current year will be £3. Race fees may be varied for special events and reviewed during the year if the hall hire cost increases.

7) Membership Fee for the current year is £20 (adult) or £15 (junior) per year including the BRCA membership fee. If members obtain their BRCA membership separately then the difference of £8 (adult members) or £3 (junior members) will be payable.

8) Racers may become a member part way through a year and pay a pro-rata amount of the club membership as follows; April – June 75%, July – September 50%, October – December 25%. This does not apply to BRCA membership, which must be paid in full.

9) All members of FRCCC shall join the BRCA. Proof of BRCA membership may be asked for if a FRCCC member does not join the BRCA via the club. The BRCA insurance covers potential new members for up to 6 weeks (or 3 meetings) without in additional premium. So a new driver can race 3 times without joining the BRCA or Club. After this, they must pay £12 to join the BRCA and the club Membership Fee as above. Note that the BRCA will process memberships received after the 1st November as running for 14 months (i.e. until Dec 31st of the following year).

10) Tyre additives are not allowed at this club. This applies to inside and outside tracks. No mini pins/rally blocks on the inside tracks/carpet.
