We will be going indoors on 28th September 2008, doors open at 1.30pm aim to race at 2.15pm.
The outside championship was really good this year and pretty close for a few people, the results are available on the website. It's a shame so many rounds were rained off, the worst weather the club has seen for years.
We will be still racing Tamiya Mini's inside due to the success last year, really good cheap fun. But there will be no championship for them, as we feel it will take the fun away from them.
Scalextric Nights
For the rainy summer night the club decided to buy a scalextric set and race when it was wet. Now we are racing once a month on a Friday night at the usual time, arrive at 6.30pm and start racing a 7pm. Its cheap good fun, the average scalextric car is ?20. The set was purchased from Jadlam racing in Wells.

Thrashnal Championship
Currently a few members are doing the Thrashnal event at Melksham this year, depending on numbers attending Frome there may not be any racing on these dates.
There needs to be a turn out of 8 to 10 racers at Frome to make racing viable.

The first round of our current championship was held last week, the second round is this Friday 13th June - results will be up by the weekend, so we can see if anyone was having an unlucky day!

We begin to race outside on Friday nights starting 25th April. Racing begins at 6.30pm.
Sunday 20th April is reserved for those who are taking part in the endurance race, so there will be no racing this day for non-participants. More details on how to join the endurance race are posted on our forum.

AGM Meeting held today. Mark Robinson assigned to secretary position, Steve Payne stepped down from being treasurer and Jamie Carpenter has now taken his place. Club Rules have also been amended.

We will be racing indoors on a Sunday from 7th October. This will be from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Our last outdoor meeting will be this Friday 28th September.

We now begin our Summer Season, in which we race outside on the tarmac court on Friday evenings at 6.30pm, finishing no later than 10pm.

In todays meeting:
- Clifford Timperly and Mark Robinson have joined the committee.
- Andy Blake has stepped down from position as Secretary - Tony and Clifford will be carrying out secretarial duties until a new Secretary is appointed.
- Batteries for the club car have been generously donated by Frank Anderson.
- We are looking into further advertising for the club.
- The last Friday in April (the 27th) was chosen as the date to go outdoors for our summer season.
- It was brought up that ALL members should help set up and pack away the track - this is in the club rules.
